Super Slacker...my bad :-/

HELLOOOOO ALL!!

So we made it to Abu Dhabi!!! Here is the long and short of it all...Emma got here 2 weeks before the Tater and I...The Tater and I got stuck in Chicago for 2 HOURS...on the plane...it literally looked like the snow was burying the plane and then they had to de-ice the plane..that was "comforting" hahaha but, nevertheless, we MADE IT!!

*** OK...I always get asked "You're going where?? Abu what??" and then I always "Do you know where Dubai is? Like an hourish away"...OOOOOOOOOOOOHHH....SO...This is where Abu Dhabi is :-) ***

SOOOOO...we've been here 1 week and Taitum has adjusted fantastically to the 12 hour time change which is so nice now...Emma is having so much fun!! Emma goes to a "nursery" aka school here 5 days a week for 6-7 hours a day which is super nice and she LOVES it!! I've been going to the gym with my step mom 4 days a week..pilates, yoga, cardio...feels good...and of course shopping around :)

Nothing too crazy exciting as of right now BUT we are headed to Dubai tomorrow!! Many pictures will come soon I promise!! And I am going to try and get something posted at least 2-3 times a week..so...it will probably happen 1-2 times hahahaha :-)

I get to fool around with my fantastico Silhouette software and create some stencils which is great fun for me so once we get home...I'll be a printing MACHINE!!!

OK...I hope everyone had a fantastic week!!! We are having a great time and enjoying all of it!!

Short and sweet

I just want to give a BIG shout out to my super talented husband...you need something done and he'll get it done...especially wood-work!!

For Christmas, he helped Santa make this AMAZING dollhouse for Emma!!! 2 DAYS!! He was working a lot right up until Christmas so he literally went to the store, got the materials, started the 23rd all day and finished it Christmas Eve; just in time for Santa to deliver it Christmas morning!!

THIS...is amazing...no he didn't make it for me...I don't need one haha. But really...I don't need one haha.  This is a birthday gift for his buddies wife.  His friend called, well probably texted, him and asked if he could make his wife a jewelry box...I mean for reals people...this is amazing...I went and got some felt for the inside (that was the only thing I did haha) and the top red part has indents for rings and slides to and fro and can be taken out and he put in the drawer...it is amazical!!!

The lid has an engraved "C" that his friend helped him out with BUT...my trusty Cameo printed out the stencil heehee :).

no joke...if you need something from a shadow box to bed frame...he can do it haha...so awesome!!

Well that was all...Taitum is feeling a little better...taking her back for a check up tomorrow and then Wednesday also...so frustrating when an infant is sick :(.

Oh MAN...Yes...The holiday's...OVER

Now the fun begins hahaha...Christmas was great...I got beyond spoiled...a Cameo...a red KitchenAid...Tory Burch Sunglasses...I mean really...insane!!!!

I guess someone did read my Amazon WishList!!!  WOOO...The hubs got a new phone since he dropped his phone in the toilet...it was clean...I still think it's gross haha...The girls got beyond spoiled!!! Dad helped Santa build this amazing dollhouse!!! He even routered the "tile" on the flooring with a monogrammed "E" at the "entrance"...so cool...she LOVES IT!!

Either my swap partners didn't ever receive my gifts or they sucked that bad and they're being nice by not saying anything haha...it's ok...my feelings aren't hurt haha...I'm sorry if you work for the USPS but I LOOOOATHE them during the holidays!! So many people did not get things I sent out!! Even after I re-sent them!! I would have gone through UPS or Fed-Ex but they were too expensivo for this military wife/momma...I guess a shipping savings fund is order for next year also..hmmmm. I think I might send them something via a website so that ensures delivery since I haven't heard anything...so lame...I'm sorry either way!!!

Well...A LOT HAPPENING!! My baby girl is seeing the world for 2 weeks so it's going to be a little quiet here...you can tell Taitum knows something is wrong because she has been extra attentiony lately with big sister not here but the flight will be MUCH easier (UAE...yeah...with the chill 6 month old ALONE it will be much easier hahaha)...We will be gone for...ready...READY...

2 MONTHS

Brutus misses her too...he's been sleeping on her tutu the past couple nights...

The hubs is doing a lot of work ups and I don't think he'll even be home when we get home but so goes our life...my mama is planning a visit out here when we get back so that will be super exciting!!! But yes...this trip will be awesome!! We figure...the girls aren't on any kind of strict school/extra-curricular schedule so this is the greatest time to do these trips!

**A.D.D MOMENT** I just noticed my show...NCIS...started again..I LOOOOVE THIS SHOW!!

ok...the trip...this will be super fun!! I will still be blogging and posting pics :-)...WOOOO.  The only downfall to this trip...my super awesome christmas gifts (aside from my sunglasses haha)...will not be used...by me anyway haha..OH AND my brother and his fiance got me a crockpot too!! Hopefully my husband doesn't break it hahaha

Ok...I gotta go to bed...but yes...A LOT OF EXCITING STUFF HAPPENING!!!! I will keep you all posted as it happens ;-)

Holy Poo

So this is a vent...sorry...I know...it's the holiday's...my bad

I have decided to delete my personal FB page...holy adults and their drama rama!!!

I mean for reals...grow up and get over it...dust it off..start over...you aren't a tree stuck in the ground, so if you don't like where you are or what's going on...MOVE ON...

OK...that's all..I am going to make sure I have all of the pictures saved these next few days.

Yes, this is also partly why I haven't posted lately...Christmas this year is not decorated in our house (we won't be home and my husband wanted to wait until he got home but now he's home a week before Christmas which was later than we thought...sorry...I'm not pulling it all out for a week)...the spirit is there and Emma is SOOOOOO excited...I am kind of grinchy because I see all of these crazy sales and "2 DAY SUPER DEALS" and due to craziness that is life and unexpected BIG bills...oh well...big gifts next year and I am trying to make as much as possible without Emma noticing...haha I know...funny...trying to hide ANYTHING from the nosey 3 year old is almost impossible!

ok...THAT is all...I swear I will be my old, chipper self once all of this is done...I actually think it will be a relief...I mean come on...it's the internet and a page...on the internet...it's not going anywhere...BUT I AM...BUUUAHAHAHAHA...take that you addicting facebook-ness hahahaha

Things...

Oh the things that have been going on this weekend through today hahaha...the hubs got home reeeeeeeeeeeeeealllllllly early this morning and had to head into work at 9 and he's back at his Navy-ness tomorrow morning at 0430 BUT then he's on leave for about a month!

no we have not (and probably will not) decorated for Christmas...the spirit is still much alive but we will not be home so...we are "decorating" with art projects :).  The hubs wanted to wait until he got home...now Christmas is next week and we won't be here so...we will go all out next year...

here are some pictures and an AWESOME video of Emma rockin' out to the intro of "Hot for Teacher" by Van Halen hahaha....it was raining...it was cold...Taitum was asleep...THIS was how we killed time...plus it was my older brothers' amazingly fantastic idea!! seriously...it's amazing hahahaha

and here are some pictures of projects I did today...and stuff that has been going on...I can't get my pictures from my camera to load so I am going to try again tomorrow and post about my AMAZING Cold Hands, Warm Hearts partner...ps...the usps hates me...i just may be sending my re-made and re-purchased gift to her via UPS store...anyway...haha here you are :)

 My $4.99 door mat from Ikea...spray paint...homemade stencil...a little permanent marker outline...not too bad...the "M" could be better...but it's good to be stepped on for now :)

 SHE WENT TO THE ZOO WITH NONA AND AUNTIE ANGIE AND FED A GIRAFFE!!! That is Auntie Angie...and yes Emma is wearing a giraffe headband and she has a belt on with a tail hahaha

Another Ikea awesomeness!!! the plate...$1 each in the "as-is" section and the candle stick holders are 49 cents...I LOVE IT!! Totally goes with my yellow walls and white-washed furniture!!...nothing a little gorilla glue can't handle!!

UGH...PALM TO FOREHEAD!

Life is sucking the life out of me...BUT...BUT...THE GIRLS ARE GOING TO THEIR NONA'S TOMORROW...OVERNIGHT!

That's right...Sunday morning will be filled with:

1...HOT and consumed HOT cup of coffee

2...a morning jog without pushing a jogger!

3...a shower...BY MYSELF..or you know what..I just might take a bubble bath..HA!

4...cleaning...by myself...it should take...not that long haha

5...I will reupholster my wingback chair I got from the Salvation Army...like 2 months ago haha

6...my BFF, Nina, and I are GOING TO BINGO ON SATURDAY NIGHT!!! That's right..the last time I went, I got yelled at...apparently I talk to too much hahahaha

oh and so much more...so...once I recuperate this weekend from the amazingness that are my children, I will get back on this train!!

I love blogging...just the timing...bla...life happens...I'm cruising through it...Pidg...I'm in my own kind of funk and honestly don't feel the Christmas spirit this year...maybe it's because the hubs wants us to wait for him to come home before we start decorating and get a tree (that sentence doesn't totally make sense to me but...you get it...right?)

OK...maybe i'll win a game of bingo on saturday...that would be cool...my diaperless, bottle-less, no talking back to me weekend starts at 10 am tomorrow!!!

I received the sweetest package from Char (<-- her blog..she is super fun!), my Cold Hands Warm Hearts swap buddy...I mean the ring she made is precious & the cupcakes are UH-FREAKING-DORABLE...and of course I LOVE the gloves! I will post a pic ASAP...and of course my super awesome ornament from Lindsey my ornament swap partner with Miss Mommy's Ornament Exchange! PS...am i the only one who feels under crafty when they receive awesome stuff handmade by crafty crafters?!?!

ok...

I have a love/hate...more towards the dislike portion side of that with the USPS...and banks but that's another story haha...99.9% of the time I get the grumpy postal worker (except our actual postman...he's awesome)...so I've been to the post a bit because um duuuuh it's Christmas tiiiiiime!!

I am having a "poo day" as I like to call them...The girls and i went on 4 mile walk because it was nice out and I wanted mexican food um ok Emma said mom can i have a burrito and i said sure but we have to walk...that's how I justified this:

YUMMMMMMMM...Emma was apparently hungry hahaha

"poo" days consist of no energy, not wanting to cook, unexpected chunks of funds being spent (which extra sucks during the holidays), having to tell Emma "no we can't go do that but we'll try to later" and "later" will eventually turn into "not anytime soon" because of funds BUT you know what...

Because Mike has a good job with the Navy, I get to stay home with the kiddo's and soak in all of their questions, show their eyes things they really have never seen before, tell them things they are just learning for the first time, we had another dance party with Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Phantom of the Opera, and Britney Spears...and Emma wanted to dance with Taitum so I held Taitum while Emma "held" her and they danced...it was so cute.  I wish there was someway I could have snapped a picture. OH and Emma has been on this "Elf" kick which is awesome because it's hilarious and Emma thinks it's funny so that's super awesome. oh my gawsh and every time Gavin Rossdale's song "Love Remains the Same" comes on she stops and looks at me and says "MOM this is the song you sing to me when I go to sleep!!!" yup...when she was a baby I sang that to her when she would go to sleep...I couldn't and still can't remember every word to any lullaby haha plus "rock a bye baby" creeps me out...time's just suck right now but it will get better...It's a new year in, what...4 weeks?!? that is just crazy town central!

Aside from Emma and Taitum and occasionally Mike hahaha...at 3 o'clock Ellen makes me crack up and will put me in an instant good mood...Emma calls Ellen the lady who dances and is funny on mommy's show hahaha

UGH oh man another part of today being poopy is Emma saw a commercial on TV a military homecoming or something about the holidays and started crying because she misses her daddy...he'll be back in a couple weeks so we went to the calendar and counted the days and that helped but she's 3 so time...there is no concept aside from when the sun comes up and the sun goes down but she's getting there and she tells EVERYONE about her daddy and how she's going to show him everything she's been doing or eating or he's going to take her places and he's going to think it's " so funny" or "so cool" or "he's going to laugh so hard because it's so funny" hahahaha

anywho...tomorrow is another day...AND I remembered to put the trash can on the curb so I'm not running downstairs super early in the morning in hopes that I didn't miss it hahaha...again hahaha. but I forgot to program the coffee...that's ok...gotta somehow hit up the market too tomorrow...
