How to Cut a Pineapple

oooooh man do we LOVE PINEAPPLES!!! But sometimes the pre-cut tubs are juuuuuust a little steep...so i started buying whole pineapples a while ago and wouldn't ya know...super easy to cut and you know it's just a pineapple!!

So here is my step by step guide!! SIDE NOTE - grab a kitchen towel for the first step...those leaves are priiiiiiiiickly :-)

TWIST the top off...it will twist off...easiest way i swear!

 Cut in half
 Cut in 1/4's
 You should have 4 pieces
Cut the ends off and I cut down the middle too aka the hard yucky part
 this part...like my visual? haha
and then take your knife and just slice the skin off...trim off whatever "icky" parts are left (usually on the sides)
Make a grumpy pineapple man face before you throw it away
 num num num
AND YOU HAVE FRESH PINEAPPLE CUBES IN A MINUTE!!

Add strawberries...blueberries...honey...yogurt...throw it in a smoothie...chop them into smaller pieces and freeze them in an ice cube tray with water THAT WAY you can throw them in a smoothie later also! TONS OF OPTIONS!!!

If you want pineapple rings just skip the cutting in 1/2 and then 1/4's and twist the top off, de-skin it, and then just slice the thickness you want...turkey pineapple teriyaki burgers!!! YUMMMM

I hope this helps your summer snacking needs!!!

ENJOY!!!
